Did not receive a delivery card/note. Need to find the right post office now since there are several near by...

The link to track the parcel did not work all the time. I signed for updates, and never received any information. I had to search by myself the location of the package and when I finally found it with Poste Italiane it was labeled "oversized"; hence, not deliverable. I learned that I will have to pick it at the nearest PI location, and it happened almost by chance, because I did not get one single communication of this situation. Lousy service and zero communication to the customer.

Delivery delayed too much without explanation, no communication

The delivery was very quick and professional and nothing broke which is great since my item was fragile somewhat.

My package is three days late, there haven't been any updates online since it first shipped so I don't know where it is, and I'm not getting any transparency on my late package. I may as well take my money back if it takes much longer

NO GOOD SERVICE !!

Updates were precise however, it said that it cleared Canadian Customs at 7:34 pm on May 18th and delivery was attempted at 7:34, same date. Impossible. Never did receive the package. It went back to the States to the originating address. Brutal. Gave DHL a one star since it was the lowest option.

What is DHL and what services do they offer?

DHL is one of the world’s most recognized courier and logistics companies, founded back in 1969. It operates globally, serving more than 220 countries and territories, so chances are high they can deliver your parcel almost anywhere. DHL offers a range of delivery services, including express shipping for urgent parcels, standard and economy options for less time-sensitive deliveries, as well as specialized international shipping solutions. You’ll often find DHL working with e-commerce businesses, large corporations, and individual customers who need reliable parcel and freight services. Whether you’re receiving a time-critical document or a bulky package from overseas, DHL combines speed and extensive network coverage to get your shipment where it needs to be. Their services cover everything from same-day delivery in some regions to comprehensive cross-border logistics, making them a popular choice worldwide.

It’s like having a personal assistant for your deliveries, making sure you know exactly where your package is and when it’ll arrive—no stress, just smooth tracking.

What do DHL tracking statuses mean?

When you check your DHL tracking, you'll see several key statuses that tell you where your shipment is and what’s happening next. "Picked Up" means DHL has collected your package from the sender and it’s starting its journey. Once it shows "In Transit," your parcel is moving through the network—no action needed, just sit tight. When the status changes to "Out for Delivery," your package is on the local delivery vehicle and should arrive soon, so be ready to receive it. If you see "Delivered," your shipment has reached its destination, and you can usually find it at the specified address or with a neighbor. Sometimes, your tracking might say "Pending," which means your shipment is still being processed or waiting for the next step; you don't need to worry, but keep an eye on it for updates. Using DHL tracking helps you stay informed and prepared throughout the delivery process.

Why is my DHL tracking not updating?

It’s totally normal to feel a bit anxious when your DHL tracking number stops showing new updates for a while, but don’t worry—this happens more often than you might think. Usually, your package is moving between sorting centers or transport hubs where scans aren’t always immediate, so there can be gaps in the tracking info. DHL typically updates tracking details once or twice a day, but weekends or public holidays can slow things down even more. If your shipment is international, customs checks might also cause delays in scanning and updates. These pauses are usually nothing to stress over and just part of the journey. If it’s been several days without any change, especially past the estimated delivery date, then it could make sense to reach out to DHL directly for a clearer picture.

What format is a DHL tracking number?

DHL tracking numbers usually consist of 10 to 39 characters, combining letters and numbers, often starting with three letters followed by digits. For example, a typical DHL tracking code might look like "JD0146000062912345." You can find your DHL tracking number in the shipping confirmation email sent by the retailer, printed on your parcel label, or within your order tracking page on the seller’s website. Once you have it, simply enter the number above to track your DHL package and get real-time updates on your shipment’s status. It’s a quick way to stay informed about where your delivery is at any moment.

How long does DHL take to deliver?

DHL offers several delivery options to suit different needs, with express services typically delivering parcels within 1 to 3 business days domestically and around 3 to 7 days for international shipments. Their standard service tends to take a bit longer, usually 3 to 5 days locally and up to 10 days when sending packages abroad. Economy options, where available, can stretch delivery times further, especially for international routes, sometimes taking up to two weeks or more depending on the destination. Keep in mind that customs checks and busy holiday seasons might cause delays beyond these timeframes. To stay in the loop, you can sign up for notifications and get live updates on your shipment’s progress right to your inbox.

Is tracking a DHL parcel free?

Good news—tracking your DHL parcel on Parcel Monitor is completely free and super easy, with no sign-up or account needed for basic updates. Just pop in your tracking number and voilà, you’re all set! If you want a little extra magic, creating a free account lets you connect your Gmail, so we automatically keep tabs on all your shipments from DHL and other carriers without you lifting a finger. How do I get delivery notifications for my DHL parcel?

You don’t have to keep refreshing the page to track your DHL delivery anymore — Parcel Monitor tells you the moment your package moves. When your DHL parcel updates, you’ll get an email alert or a push notification right on your phone, so you’re always in the loop without lifting a finger. If you connect your Gmail, it even picks up all your DHL shipments automatically, so you don’t have to type in any tracking numbers. It’s like having a personal assistant for your deliveries. Give it a try—link your Gmail or download the app and see how easy tracking can be!

How do I track a DHL parcel without a tracking number?

Losing or not receiving your DHL tracking number can be really frustrating—we get it. If you ordered something from a retailer, your tracking info is usually tucked away in a separate “your order has shipped” email, so be sure to check your inbox (and don’t forget the spam folder just in case). If it’s nowhere to be found, reaching out to the retailer directly is your best bet; they can quickly pull the tracking number from DHL and share it with you. To dodge this hassle altogether, try connecting your Gmail account here—this way, every DHL order gets spotted and tracked automatically without you having to hunt for the number. It’s a simple step that saves time and keeps you in the loop effortlessly!

What are the alternatives to DHL in United States?

DHL is known worldwide for its strong international shipping capabilities, but within the United States, it doesn't have quite the same domestic coverage as some other carriers. If you’re looking for fast and reliable domestic delivery, FedEx is a popular choice, often praised for its speedy overnight options and extensive network. UPS is another heavyweight, well-regarded for its consistent service and broad parcel locker system, which makes receiving packages super convenient. Then there’s the USPS, which is usually the go-to for affordable shipping with solid reach, especially in rural areas. Each carrier has its strengths depending on what matters most to you—whether it’s speed, price, or coverage. Luckily, Parcel Monitor tracks all these carriers in one place, so no matter which one handles your parcel, you won’t have to juggle multiple tracking sites or apps to stay updated.
