This is what happens when the USPS doesn't deliver a package, they claim they tried to. No card was left and no attempt was made. The package is tiny and could go in the mailbox, door delivery isn't needed and signing for it is not necessary.

considering I had to sign for the delivery the estimated times from fedex were not even close to accurate, it was a Day late and multiple hours off from the time originally given making it extremely inconvenient. This issue isn't with bikes online but I don't know why anyone uses fedex anymore, usually always issues

I paid extra to have an evening delivery and you tried to deliver at 1pm and pkg wasn’t on the truck so now I’ve got to wait another day .

Fedex driver claimed they attempted to deliver the package, but I was home all day waiting and nobody ever attempted the delivery. I called Fedex and I will now have to wait at least another 24 hours and drive to a Fedex location to pick up my package.

How long does delivery typically take in Asia?

When you track an order in Asia, delivery times can vary quite a bit depending on the country and carrier you choose. For domestic shipments, express services usually take about 1 to 3 business days, while standard options might take anywhere from 3 to 7 days. If you’re receiving something from abroad, like from Europe or the US, international parcels typically arrive within 7 to 14 days, though customs checks and local holidays can sometimes add a little extra time. Popular carriers across Asia, like EMS, DHL, and local postal services, each have their own schedules, but you can usually expect smooth tracking updates throughout the journey. Just keep in mind that busy seasons or unexpected delays might affect timing, so it’s always good to check your tracking info regularly to stay in the loop.

My parcel is stuck in Asia customs — what should I do?

Waiting for a parcel to clear customs in Asia can feel frustrating, but it’s actually a pretty normal step in international shipping. Customs officials in many Asian countries carefully review packages to make sure all duties and import fees are properly assessed, and they often check that the paperwork matches what’s inside. Sometimes, this process can take a few days longer if they need extra information or if the shipment is busy. You might get an email from the carrier or customs asking you to pay a fee or provide additional details, so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on your inbox. When your tracking shows “Customs Clearance,” it means your parcel is being processed, not lost. If it’s been stuck there for a long time without updates, contacting the carrier directly can help you find out what’s going on or if any action is needed from your side.

What tracking number formats do carriers in Asia use?

In Asia, tracking numbers vary depending on the carrier, but they usually follow recognizable patterns to help you keep an eye on your parcel. For example, carriers like Japan Post often use a 13-character format starting with two letters followed by nine digits and ending with "JP," such as "RR123456789JP." Similarly, China Post tracking numbers typically consist of 13 to 20 digits, sometimes starting with letters like "LP" or "CP." You’ll usually find your tracking number in the shipping confirmation email or on the order confirmation page from the seller. Occasionally, it’s printed directly on the parcel label itself. Having this tracking number handy is key to checking your package’s journey across Asia and beyond, giving you peace of mind as it makes its way to you.

Why has my Asia parcel tracking stopped updating?

A sudden pause in your parcel’s tracking updates is more common than you’d think, especially when shipping to or within Asia. Parcels often move through several sorting centers across different countries, and during these transitions, scans might not happen immediately. Weekends or public holidays can also cause brief gaps, as many carriers slow down operations. If your parcel is crossing international borders, customs checks might hold it for a bit longer without constant updates. Don’t worry though—this silence usually means your parcel is just on its way to the next checkpoint. Tracking typically picks up again within a couple of days. If you don’t see any new information after 2–3 business days, then it might be worth reaching out to the carrier for more details.

You don’t have to keep refreshing your screen to track shipment Asia — Parcel Monitor will give you a heads-up the moment your package makes a move. What happens if a delivery attempt fails in Asia?

In many Asian countries, when a delivery attempt fails, carriers usually try once or twice before leaving a notification card or sending you an SMS or email to let you know. You can often track order Asia shipments through major couriers like DHL, FedEx, or local players such as SF Express and India Post, though their policies might vary slightly. If you miss the delivery, you’ll typically have options like rescheduling the delivery online, picking up your package from a nearby service point or depot, or sometimes redirecting it to a trusted neighbour or a safe place at your address. Notifications usually include clear instructions on how to proceed, making it easier to get your parcel without hassle. Just keep an eye on your messages to avoid missing those important updates.

What should I do if my parcel is lost in Asia?

A parcel that suddenly stops updating can feel really worrying, but you’re not alone and there are clear steps you can take to find answers. Sometimes, a delivery in Asia may have been quietly marked as delivered even if you haven’t received it yet, so it’s worth double-checking the tracking details carefully. If you see no progress for more than 10 to 15 business days, it’s a good idea to contact the local carrier handling your shipment with your tracking number. They can start a trace or investigation to locate your package. In the rare case the carrier confirms the parcel is lost, you can reach out to the seller or retailer. They’re usually responsible for filing an official claim and working with you on a replacement or refund. Remember, you have options and support every step of the way when you track delivery in Asia.

How do I track a parcel I sent from Asia to another country?

You can use Parcel Monitor for online parcel tracking as soon as your shipment leaves your hands. Once the carrier picks up your parcel, just enter the tracking number to watch its full journey across Asia and beyond. Keep in mind that updates might slow down or pause when your parcel crosses borders and switches to the destination country’s carrier—that’s totally normal and doesn’t mean there’s a problem. If you send parcels regularly, connecting your Gmail makes things even easier: all your outgoing orders will be tracked automatically without typing in each number. This is a great time-saver for small businesses and anyone who ships often across Asia, helping you stay on top of every package with less hassle.
