considering I had to sign for the delivery the estimated times from fedex were not even close to accurate, it was a Day late and multiple hours off from the time originally given making it extremely inconvenient. This issue isn't with bikes online but I don't know why anyone uses fedex anymore, usually always issues

I paid extra to have an evening delivery and you tried to deliver at 1pm and pkg wasn’t on the truck so now I’ve got to wait another day .

Fedex driver claimed they attempted to deliver the package, but I was home all day waiting and nobody ever attempted the delivery. I called Fedex and I will now have to wait at least another 24 hours and drive to a Fedex location to pick up my package.

What is FedEx and what services do they offer?

FedEx is a well-known global courier and logistics company that started back in 1971 in the United States. Over the decades, it has grown into one of the biggest names in package delivery, operating in more than 220 countries and territories worldwide. You can count on FedEx for a wide range of services, from express shipping that gets your parcels delivered quickly—sometimes even overnight—to more economical options that suit less urgent needs. They handle everything from small personal packages to large freight shipments, serving all kinds of customers including online retailers, businesses, and individuals. Whether you’re sending something locally or internationally, FedEx offers reliable delivery options to fit different budgets and timelines, making them a familiar choice for both everyday shipping and specialized logistics solutions.

How can I track FedEx parcels online with Parcel Monitor?

Tracking your FedEx shipment has never been easier or more convenient. With Parcel Monitor, you get real-time updates straight from FedEx, so you don’t have to jump between different apps or websites to stay informed. Whether you prefer checking on your phone or computer, you can quickly see where your package is and when it’s expected to arrive—all in one place. Plus, you’ll get helpful email notifications whenever your shipment’s status changes, keeping you in the loop without lifting a finger. If you use Gmail, Parcel Monitor can even spot your FedEx tracking numbers automatically, so you don’t have to type them in yourself. And if you’re juggling packages from other carriers too, you can easily manage everything side by side. It’s like having a personal assistant for your deliveries, making sure you never miss a beat while your FedEx shipment makes its way to you.

What do FedEx tracking statuses mean?

When you check your FedEx tracking, you'll see statuses that help you follow your package every step of the way. When it says "Picked Up," FedEx has collected your shipment and started the journey. "In Transit" means your package is moving through the FedEx network, getting closer to its destination. If you see "Out for Delivery," your package is on the delivery vehicle and should arrive soon—this is the time to make sure someone is available to receive it. "Delivered" means your item has reached its final destination; you can usually find details about where it was left. Sometimes your status might show as "Pending," which means FedEx is still processing your shipment or waiting for more information, so there's no need to worry yet—just check back soon for updates. Keeping an eye on these statuses helps you stay informed and prepared throughout the delivery process.

Why is my FedEx tracking not updating?

It’s totally normal to feel a bit anxious when your FedEx tracking number stops showing new updates—that waiting can be tough! Often, this happens because your package is moving between FedEx hubs, and not every transfer gets scanned right away. FedEx usually updates their tracking info a few times a day, but weekends and holidays can slow things down since fewer scans happen then. If your shipment is international, customs checks might also cause a pause in updates, which is completely common and usually just a temporary hold-up. Most of the time, a gap in tracking doesn’t mean anything’s wrong with your package. However, if several days go by with no movement and the delivery date has passed, that’s when it’s a good idea to reach out to FedEx directly for more details.

What format is a FedEx tracking number?

FedEx tracking numbers usually have 12 to 14 characters and are made up of digits only, though sometimes they include letters. They often start with numbers like 96 or 92, followed by a string of numbers — for example, something like 1234 5678 9012 or 9612 3456 7890. You can find your FedEx tracking number in the shipping confirmation email, on your receipt, or by checking the order tracking page of the retailer you bought from. Once you have it, just enter your FedEx tracking number above to see the latest updates on your package.

How long does FedEx take to deliver?

FedEx offers a range of delivery options to suit your needs, with express services typically delivering domestic packages within 1 to 3 business days, while international express shipments usually arrive in about 2 to 5 days, depending on the destination. Their standard and economy services take a bit longer—domestic deliveries often reach you within 3 to 5 days, and international ones can take anywhere from 5 to 10 days or more. Keep in mind, factors like customs clearance and busy holiday seasons can sometimes add a few extra days to your delivery time. To stay in the loop, you can sign up for notifications that provide real-time updates on your parcel’s journey, so you always know exactly when it’s arriving.

Is tracking a FedEx parcel free?

Yes, tracking your FedEx parcel on Parcel Monitor is completely free—no strings attached! You don’t need to create an account or sign up just to check where your package is. But if you want to make life even easier, you can connect your Gmail for free, and we’ll automatically keep tabs on all your FedEx shipments and other parcels without you lifting a finger. It’s hassle-free, simple, and designed to keep you smiling while your package makes its way to you!

How do I get delivery notifications for my FedEx parcel?

You don’t have to keep refreshing the page to track FedEx delivery — Parcel Monitor lets you know the moment your package moves, so you can relax and stay in the loop effortlessly. You’ll get email alerts whenever there’s an update, and if you use the app, push notifications pop up right on your phone. Plus, if you connect your Gmail, all your FedEx shipments (and others) get tracked automatically without you typing in a single tracking number. It’s like having a personal assistant watching your parcels for you. Give it a try by linking your Gmail or grabbing the app!

How do I track a FedEx parcel without a tracking number?

Losing your FedEx tracking number or never receiving it can be really frustrating—we totally get that. Often, if you ordered something online, the tracking number isn’t in the initial confirmation email but comes separately in a “your order has shipped” message, so it’s worth checking your inbox and even your spam or junk folders for that email. If it’s still nowhere to be found, reaching out to the retailer directly is your best bet—they can look up your shipment details with FedEx and get that tracking info to you. To avoid this headache altogether, you can link your Gmail account with Parcel Monitor, so every FedEx package tied to your email gets detected and tracked automatically. No need to hunt for numbers ever again—just connect your Gmail and relax!

What are the alternatives to FedEx in United States?

FedEx is a popular choice in the United States, especially known for its reliable express shipping and extensive global network. If you're considering other options, USPS stands out for its affordable rates and widespread coverage, including access to many post office locations and parcel lockers. UPS is another major player, often praised for its robust ground delivery service and strong business shipping solutions. DHL, while more focused on international shipments, also offers fast and efficient service for cross-border parcels. Each carrier has its strengths depending on whether you prioritize speed, cost, or convenience. The great news is Parcel Monitor tracks all these carriers in one place, so no matter which one’s handling your package, you can keep tabs on your delivery without juggling multiple apps or websites.
