The first packet was lost in Germany. This packet has yet to arrive, and the destination is Zagreb in Croatia NOT Mexico city as stated in the tracking. I am not sure what is going on with this, but so far, I am NOT impress. I did not rate delivery or service as the package has NOT reached me as yet. Hopefully this makes its way to me...

Two MONTHS and my package has not left Mexico! What is wrong with these people? More than six weeks in the Mexican postal service. I have had deliveries from Europe in one week, always under two weeks, and they are twice as far.

How long does delivery typically take in Mexico?

When you want to track an order in Mexico, delivery times can vary depending on the carrier and service you choose. For domestic shipments with major carriers like Correos de México or DHL Express, expect express deliveries to arrive within 1 to 3 business days, while standard shipping usually takes around 3 to 7 days. If you’re receiving international parcels, shipments from the US or China typically take between 7 to 14 days, though customs clearance can sometimes add a bit more time. Keep in mind that public holidays or busy seasons might slow things down a little. So, while tracking your order in Mexico, it’s good to stay patient and check updates regularly, as every package’s journey can be a bit different depending on these factors.

My parcel is stuck in Mexico customs — what should I do?

Waiting for your parcel to clear customs in Mexico can feel frustrating, but it’s actually a pretty common part of international shipping. When your package arrives, customs officers review the contents to make sure everything’s in order—they check paperwork, assess if any import duties or taxes apply, and confirm the items meet regulations. Sometimes, they might hold the parcel a little longer if they need extra details or if there’s a fee to be paid. Keep an eye on your email because carriers or customs might send you a notice about any charges or additional info required. Seeing “Customs Clearance” as a status just means your parcel is going through this routine process—it’s not lost or forgotten. If the status hasn’t changed for several days or you haven’t heard anything about fees, it could be worth reaching out to the carrier directly to get an update.

What tracking number formats do carriers in Mexico use?

When tracking a package in Mexico, you’ll often come across tracking numbers from major carriers like DHL, FedEx, and Estafeta. DHL tracking numbers usually have 10 digits, sometimes starting with a letter, like 1234567890. FedEx tracking numbers in Mexico often have 12 digits, such as 1234 5678 9012, while Estafeta uses 12 to 14-character codes that might begin with letters followed by numbers, like EE123456789MX. You can find your tracking number Mexico in your shipping confirmation email, on the order confirmation page of the store you bought from, or directly on the parcel label if you have it handy. Having this number is key to checking where your package is and when it’s expected to arrive.

Why has my Mexico parcel tracking stopped updating?

A sudden pause in your parcel’s tracking updates is more common than you’d think, especially when sending or receiving packages in Mexico. Often, the quiet period happens while your parcel moves between sorting centers or waits through a weekend when scans are less frequent. If your parcel is coming from abroad, it might also be going through customs checks, which can cause a temporary hold with no new tracking info. Even though it feels worrying, these gaps usually don’t mean your parcel is lost — tracking tends to resume once it reaches the next checkpoint. You can relax and give it a couple of business days; most of the time, your parcel will show up on the tracking system again soon, moving closer to your hands.

Can I get delivery notifications for parcels arriving in Mexico?

You don’t have to keep refreshing your screen to track shipment Mexico — Parcel Monitor will alert you the moment your package moves. What happens if a delivery attempt fails in Mexico?

In Mexico, when a delivery attempt fails, carriers typically try once or twice to get your package to you. You’ll usually get a notification via SMS or email, and often a card is left at your door with instructions. Major carriers like DHL, FedEx, and Estafeta have slightly different policies, but generally, you can either reschedule the delivery online or pick up your parcel at a nearby depot or service point. Sometimes, you can ask them to leave the package with a trusted neighbor or in a safe spot at your address. If you want to track order Mexico shipments, checking the carrier’s website with your tracking number is the quickest way to see real-time updates and decide the best way to receive your parcel after a missed delivery.

What should I do if my parcel is lost in Mexico?

A parcel that suddenly seems to disappear is frustrating, but you’re not without options when you track delivery in Mexico. Sometimes packages are quietly marked as delivered by mistake, so double-check the delivery status and any nearby spots or neighbors. If your tracking info hasn’t updated for over two weeks, it’s a good idea to reach out directly to the Mexican postal service or courier handling your shipment, using your tracking number to start an investigation. They can often trace where your parcel last was or confirm if it’s lost. If the carrier confirms the parcel can’t be found, your next step is to contact the seller or retailer. They typically handle claims and can arrange a replacement or refund. Remember, even when things seem stuck, you have clear steps to find answers and get your situation resolved.

How do I track a parcel I sent from Mexico to another country?

Sending parcels from Mexico? You can easily keep an eye on your shipments using online parcel tracking right from the moment the carrier picks up your package.
