How often will China Post update my parcel tracking status? Why is my parcel tracking status not updating?

China Post cannot control the status of your parcel while it is in transit between union member countries. This explains why at times you will notice your parcel status frozen with statuses like “Sent to Airline” or “Export Customs Scanned” for quite a long time. This may last for 2 to 4 weeks during the regular season and doubles or triples during the peak season. After the next member scans the package code and sends the data to China Post through Global Postal Union, China Post will update your China parcel tracking status.
If the destination country does not scan the parcel, or does not send the scan results to Universal Postal Union, your parcel tracking status will freeze permanently.
