I cannot believe that a package which was sent on 1 March 2023 from Brive la Gaillard in France to Kleinmond, South Africa, has still not been delivered after 36 days!! When will it ever be delivered??
Parcel Monitor user3 years ago
I have no idea why you think this item has been delivered , I live in the UK, so how come you say it has been delivered in France?
Parcel Monitor user3 years ago
The package was damaged when opened by Saudi Post at the instructions of customs. The sleeve of the watch box was torn in two locations. I suggest that more care is taken while opening the packaging. I had intended to give the watch as a present but cannot do so now because the box is not presentable. This is the first time that this has happened and I hope it will be the last.

What is La Poste and what services do they offer?

La Poste is France’s national postal service, founded way back in the 16th century and officially established in its modern form in 1991. It handles a wide range of mail and parcel deliveries across France and internationally, serving both individuals and businesses. You can expect La Poste to offer various delivery options, from standard and economy services to faster express shipping for parcels within France and abroad. They’re a go-to choice for everyday mail, e-commerce packages, and even important documents. La Poste also operates through several subsidiaries focused on logistics and express delivery, so whether you’re sending a letter or tracking a parcel, you’re dealing with a well-established provider known for reliability and broad coverage. If your package is coming from France or nearby European countries, chances are La Poste is involved somewhere along the way.

What do La Poste tracking statuses mean?

When you use La Poste tracking, you'll see several key statuses that help you know where your parcel is. "Pris en charge" means your package has been picked up by La Poste and is starting its journey. If the status shows "En cours de distribution," your parcel is out for delivery soon, so keep an eye out. When you see "En transit," it means your item is moving through the network but hasn’t reached the local delivery center yet, so no action is needed now. If the status reads "Livré," your package has been delivered successfully, so you can check your doorstep or mailbox. Sometimes, you might see "En attente," which means your parcel is pending or waiting for the next step—this could be due to customs or other checks, so just be patient. Using La Poste tracking lets you stay informed without any hassle.

Why is my La Poste tracking not updating?

It’s completely normal to feel a bit anxious when your La Poste tracking number stops updating for a while—many of us have been there! Often, this happens because your parcel is moving between sorting centers or transport hubs where scans don’t always get recorded immediately. La Poste typically updates tracking information once or twice a day, but weekends and public holidays can slow things down even more, making it seem like your package has hit a pause. If your shipment is international, customs checks might also cause a delay in updates. Usually, a quiet period in tracking isn’t a sign of trouble; your parcel is still on its way. It’s only worth reaching out to La Poste directly if there’s no movement for several days beyond the expected delivery window.

What format is a La Poste tracking number?

La Poste tracking numbers usually consist of 13 characters, combining letters and numbers in a specific format. They start with two letters indicating the service type, followed by nine digits, and end with the letters "FR." For example, a typical tracking number might look like "AB123456789FR." You can find your La Poste tracking number in the shipping confirmation email from the retailer, on your parcel’s shipping label, or within your order details on the seller’s website. To track your La Poste package, simply enter your tracking number in the box above and get real-time updates on your delivery’s progress.

How long does La Poste take to deliver?

La Poste offers several delivery options with varying timeframes to fit your needs. For express services within France, you can usually expect your package to arrive within 1 to 2 business days, while standard deliveries often take around 2 to 5 days. International shipments tend to take longer—express international parcels might reach their destination in about 3 to 7 days, but standard or economy options can take anywhere from one to three weeks depending on the country. Keep in mind that customs checks and busy holiday seasons can cause delays, especially for international deliveries. Signing up for notifications is a great way to stay updated with real-time tracking so you’ll know exactly when your parcel is on its way or has arrived.

Is tracking a La Poste parcel free?

Yes, tracking your La Poste parcel on Parcel Monitor is completely free and super easy—no account or sign-up needed for quick updates. Just pop in your tracking number, and you’re good to go! If you want to make things even smoother, you can create a free account and connect your Gmail. That way, all your parcels from La Poste and other carriers will be tracked automatically, so you don’t have to lift a finger. It’s hassle-free and keeps you in the loop effortlessly!

How do I get delivery notifications for my La Poste parcel?

You don’t have to keep refreshing the page to track La Poste delivery and wonder when your parcel will move next. Instead, you can get instant updates the moment your package changes status, thanks to handy email alerts and push notifications from the Parcel Monitor app. If you connect your Gmail, it even picks up tracking info automatically from your emails—no need to type in a single number. It’s like having a personal assistant keeping an eye on your parcels for you. Give it a try by linking your Gmail or downloading the app—you’ll wonder how you ever tracked packages without it!

How do I track a La Poste parcel without a tracking number?

Losing track of your La Poste tracking number can be super frustrating—we get it! If you ordered something online, your tracking info usually arrives in a separate email titled something like "Your order has shipped," so it’s worth checking your inbox carefully, including the spam folder where those messages sometimes sneak in. Can’t find it anywhere? No worries. You can always reach out to the retailer directly; they’ll have the tracking number on hand and can share it with you quickly. To avoid this hassle in the future, try connecting your Gmail account to Parcel Monitor. This way, every La Poste order gets spotted and tracked automatically—no tracking number needed. It’s a real time-saver, so why not give it a go?

What are the alternatives to La Poste in United States?

La Poste is primarily France’s national postal service, so in the United States, it’s not a typical choice for domestic shipping or delivery. If you’re sending or receiving parcels within the U.S., you might want to explore other carriers that have a stronger local presence. The United States Postal Service (USPS) is well-known for its extensive nationwide coverage and affordability, especially for smaller parcels and letters. Then there’s FedEx, which is popular for its reliable express shipping and international reach. UPS is another big player, often favored for its comprehensive tracking and business shipping solutions. Amazon Logistics has also grown rapidly, especially for last-mile deliveries linked to Amazon orders. Whatever carrier you’re working with, Parcel Monitor lets you track all of them in one place, so you don’t have to jump between different apps or websites to keep an eye on your parcels.
