Yusen Logistics Sets Up Its Own Container Freight Station for Air Export Cargo

As part of the “Airport City” project of the Hong Kong Airport Authority (AAHK), Yusen Logistics will set up its own container freight station (CFS) in the Dongguan Human Bonded Logistics Park. The project is promoted by the Hong Kong government, with the objective of making Hong Kong International Airport a new landmark and logistics center for economic development. Yusen Logistics is a major stakeholder and has been involved since the first stage in October 2022.

The company, Hong Kong subsidiary has designed a solution to transport cargo from Bonded Logistics Park (BLP) to Hong Kong International Airport by feeder vessels. For the upcoming stage, the company launched the CFS on March 21st, bringing their customers high-quality added value. 

The BLP is located in the Greater Bay Area, including 9 cities: Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Huizhou, Jiangmen, and Zhaoqing. This is a dynamic area with a high potential for economic development in the next few years. The Dongguan Humen BLP, as the logistics base station of the area will be the intersection, connecting the area to the world. By launching the CFS, Yusen Logistics expects to manage the cargo more safely and securely, contributing towards the sustainable development of the business and society.
