Social commerce startup, Trell is raising $100 million funding at a valuation up to $800 million led by e-commerce giant – Amazon. The startup is a Bengaluru-based social commerce platform that was founded in 2016 which aims to “matchmake brands with the right partners.”
It now has more than 450 million users in India and is seeing a regional languages boom, promising to further match them with relevant commercial content in their language.In addition to empowering brands, content creators, and customers through interacting on Trell, this influencer-led startup also believes in the future of influencers/celebrities launching their own brands.
Trell has been focused on investing in different areas related to technology, innovation, building community, and expanding to other categories. In addition, to improve efficiency as well as support collaborations within the women’s community, the firm acquired Womaniya in September 2021.
