In an impressive feat, Shopify merchants have once again shattered records, collectively amassing a staggering $4.1 billion in sales on Black Friday, marking a remarkable 22% surge compared to the previous year. The shopping extravaganza reached its pinnacle at 12:01 p.m. EST on Friday, witnessing an astonishing $4.2 million in sales per minute.
Harley Finkelstein, President of Shopify, expressed, "Another epic, record-breaking Black Friday in the books for Shopify merchants. The world showed up for our merchants, and the excitement is only building, with Cyber Monday still to come."
