Southeast Asia's leading e-commerce platform, Shopee, has recently onboarded a new social lead in its Malaysia team. The new hire, Ayesha Adam will be overseeing campaigns, community, and real-time engagements on Shopee’s social media platforms.
With vast experience and expertise as a social architect, manager and senior social specialist for Mediabrands, Ayesha is the perfect fit in heading the team to “improve the user sentiments on the brand”. Prior to this, Ayesha was the head of social at various reputable companies like M&C Saatchi Malaysia, Ensemble Worldwide and Fishermen Integrated.
“I’m hoping to elevate the social pages and open up our content to a new younger audience,” remarked Ayesha as she sets a new direction for Shopee’s social engagement strategies. With Ayesha’s in-depth understanding of managing social platforms coupled with leveraging up-and-coming pop culture trends, the newly appointed social lead strives to “make Shopee the talk of the town”.
