Schneider National Names Darrell Campbell as New EVP and CFO

Schneider National, Inc., a prominent provider of multimodal transportation, intermodal, and logistics services, recently named Darrell Campbell as the next Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective September 30, 2023. As the incoming CFO, Darrell will oversee the company's financial strategies, planning, and reporting, in addition to managing all finance operations and investor relations. This appointment comes as part of the succession plan following the retirement announcement of Steve Bruffett earlier this year. Bruffett will continue to work with the company until the end of the year to ensure a seamless transition.
Before joining Schneider, Darrell served as the Group Vice President for JM Family Enterprises, where he held responsibilities for enterprise strategy, strategic planning, treasury, and tax activities for this private enterprise with revenues totaling $18 billion. Prior to his tenure at JM Family Enterprises, Darrell held the position of CFO at Carnival Cruise Line, a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation & PLC. In this role, he led all finance functions and also supervised sourcing, supply chain, and risk management.
Additionally, Darrell served as Corporate Treasurer of Carnival Corporation, where he managed global treasury and tax functions. His career journey includes substantial experience with publicly traded Fortune 500 companies during his time as a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he led financial statement and internal control audits across various industries.
Darrell Campbell's academic achievements include a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Management from the University of West Indies, a Master of Arts degree in International Business from the University of Florida, and a Master of Accounting degree from Florida International University. He also holds a Certified Public Accountant license.
