Petco Expands Partnership With DoorDash, Unveils New App Features
Petco Health and Wellness Company, Inc. has announced a significant expansion of its partnership with DoorDash, an existing fulfillment partner. This collaboration aims to make Petco's wide range of pet products available on a national scale through the DoorDash Marketplace. Pet parents will now have the convenience of accessing Petco's carefully curated selection of products that promote the overall well-being of their pets, with the added advantage of on-demand delivery.
In addition, the company has also introduced various updates within its mobile app to enhance the pet parenting experience. One notable addition is the streamlined profile for pets' wellness needs. This pet profile offers a centralized and easy-to-use platform for pet parents to stay up-to-date with essential aspects of pet care, including nutrition, vaccinations, and grooming appointment reminders. Moreover, Petco is introducing Klarna's "Pay in 4" solution for purchases made through the Petco app. This interest-free payment option, already available on petco.com and in Petco's physical stores, provides pet parents with increased financial flexibility, enabling them to prioritize their pets' health and wellness.

More than 10,000 products from Petco's diverse catalog are now accessible on the DoorDash Marketplace. This includes items such as food, treats, bedding, bowls, toys, and various supplies for a wide range of pets, including dogs, cats, small animals, fish, reptiles, and birds. To celebrate National Dog Day on August 26, DoorDash is offering an enticing deal – a 50% discount on customers' Petco orders of $25 or more (up to $20) through the DoorDash app or website. This special offer is available from August 21 to August 27, 2023.
