Omniva, formerly known as Eesti Post, is an Estonia-based post and logistics company that is serving the entire Baltic states as its domestic market. As the region’s largest logistics service provider, Omniva is committed to finding the best solutions that work for its partners. Thanks to its 276 parcel machines spread across the Baltics, customers can send and receive parcels anytime throughout the day. According to Parcel & Post Technology International, Omniva saw an increase in its operating profits by a whopping 68% in 2021. Based on their assessment, this improvement was mainly driven by the $15.6M surge in revenue from parcel services. In their view, the pandemic-induced e-commerce boom was also a contributing factor, as were the increased parcel volumes during the peak shopping season at the end of the year. As COVID-19 continues to persist, the company plans to expand its parcel locker network in rural Estonia as well.

“2021 was a year of rapid development for the company. We launched the automatic customs declaration system…and introduced the ‘several parcels in one locker’ solution. We (also) successfully managed the parcel and mail volumes that increased several times during the shopping holidays at the end of the year,” said Mart Mägi, Chairman of the Management Board of Omniva.
