Ecommerce News Europe: Polish Fulfilment Provider, Omnipack, Raises Another €2.5 million

Dec 08, 2020

Polish fulfillment provider Omnipack has raised another €2.5 million in funding. The company provides logistics services for e-commerce stores; from storage, packaging, and shipment to returns.

This round of funding will help Omnipack in its expansion across Europe.

“Despite the pandemic, we managed to implement our expansion and financing plans. This capital will give us the fuel to continue growing and achieve profitability next year. It will finance, among other things, further progress on our journey in the DACH market, our own technology, and the expansion of our warehouses”, Kasperski added.

Whilst COVID-19 boosted growth in the e-commerce and logistics sectors, it was nevertheless challenging for a business to drive its expansion amid a pandemic outbreak.

“However, the context was difficult for Omnipack during the lockdown, as the company was preparing to enter the DACH market (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), and open two new warehouses in Nadarzyn and Gorzów Wielkopolski (both 6,500m²), build a new website available in three languages, implement a new warehouse management system and raise capital for further investments.”
