The snake mask contains aspects of symbolic significance, with greens and blues as the prominent colors. Blue highlights reflect the wood element in Chinese culture, an appropriate choice for the Year of the Snake—meanwhile, spring-themed paper flowers with gold leaves and orange blossoms. Also, the mask is adorned with decorative purple baubles hanging from blue strings.

Morris Guest, Lineage's Regional Vice President for Australia, stated that one of the numerous benefits of adding FCC to Lineage's network is its proximity to Fremantle Port, Western Australia's largest general cargo hub.

"With this new facility less than 10km from one of the country's largest ports, FCC will play a vital role in offering our customers best-in-class service and solutions," says Guest. "We look forward to serving our customers through this facility and are proud to welcome FCC's employees into the Lineage Asia-Pacific team.

GXO Provides High Street Deliveries for The Perfume Shop

GXO Logistics, Inc. has teamed up with The Perfume Shop, the UK's leading specialty fragrance retailer, to supply weekly high street deliveries to over 200 retailers via its shared transport network, reducing environmental impact, urban congestion, and transportation costs.

"We are delighted to be The Perfume Shop's preferred partner in keeping their high street stores across the UK fully stocked," said Richard Ball, Director, Shared Transport Network, GXO. "By partnering with GXO, our customers can concentrate on providing the best retail experience for consumers, knowing stock will be in the right place at the right time, with less impact on the environment and at reduced cost."

GXO's shared transport fleet combines deliveries for different retailers, reducing the number of vehicles entering and leaving already congested city centers. On average, GXO vans would transport deliveries from five separate customers, stopping at 8 to 10 places along the way, making them more efficient than a specialized delivery service. Dedicated transportation options cost a retailer 5 kg of CO2 per liter more than a shared user vehicle if not fully utilized.

In addition, shared logistics transport decreases urban traffic congestion by reducing the number of cars on the road. This is especially critical when communities enact regulations to reduce automobile emissions and encourage cleaner, more efficient transportation alternatives.
