CNA: Lalamove Works with Shopify to Offer Merchants a One-Stop E-commerce Solution
Leading same-day delivery & courier service provider Lalamove is teaming up with Shopify to help merchants reduce upfront costs and avoid logistical challenges. According to Lalamove Singapore’s Managing Director Alex Lin, the growing reliance on online shopping in the midst of COVID has increased demand for last-mile logistics solutions that are not just fast but also flexible and seamless. The new integration between the two companies is designed to do just that (and more).
Through leveraging the multi-stop delivery function by Lalamove, Shopify merchants can now group multiple orders together for greater efficiency and lower logistics costs. Without a need for manual integration, all they have to do is install the Lalamove app on the Shopify App store before making an order. They can even set a specific percentage of the delivery fee they want their customers to pay.
With the right integration, Lalamove is set to become an integral component of a merchant’s business strategy kit, especially in times of operational uncertainty. “This feature provides merchants with greater flexibility to quote Lalamove’s platform rate, which may give their customers a more favorable price than predetermined delivery prices. The transparent delivery pricing also helps merchants reduce shopping cart abandonment,” explained Mr Lin.
