Ingka Group, the largest owner and operator of IKEA stores in 31 countries, has announced the acquisition of Made4net, a prominent supply chain software solution provider based in the United States. This strategic move aims to enhance Ingka Group's order fulfillment capabilities and improve the overall customer experience.
Backed by a rich history of 80 years in innovation and entrepreneurship, Ingka Group continually seeks to scale digital solutions and make them more accessible, affordable, and sustainable for a wide range of individuals. Meanwhile, Made4net is a leading global provider of cloud-based supply chain execution and warehouse management solutions, catering to organizations of all sizes seeking to enhance the speed and efficiency of their supply chains. The company's end-to-end SCExpert™ platform offers a robust WMS solution that provides real-time inventory visibility, labor management, and equipment productivity, along with performance analytics that drives faster, more accurate order fulfillment and improved supply chain efficiency.
As part of its ongoing business development investments and commitment to retail transformation, Ingka Group plans to integrate Made4net's fulfillment operations system, thereby enhancing the omnichannel experience for both customers and co-workers in their stores. According to the press release, Made4net will continue operating as an independent subsidiary based in New Jersey, serving its existing customer base in the area.
