Gap Appoints Richard Dickson as President and Chief Executive Officer

In a recent announcement, Gap Inc has named Richard Dickson as the new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective August 22, 2023.
Richard Dickson brings a wealth of expertise to Gap Inc., a company known for its iconic American fashion brands, which include Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, and Athleta. As a lead architect in a global corporate transformation at Mattel, where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer, Dickson played a pivotal role in revitalizing the toy company's renowned brands, such as Barbie, Hot Wheels, and Fisher-Price. His visionary leadership also steered Mattel towards growth and reaffirmed the company's position as an industry thought leader.
