Coolmate Series A Funding
Vietnamese e-commerce fashion startup, Coolmate, bagged $2.3M in a Series A funding round. Founded in 2019, Coolmate employs the direct-to-customer e-commerce model to cut the distribution costs in traditional retail. Coolmate products are all Vietnamese-made clothing and accessories. The newly raised capital will help the startup to accelerate the supply chain for its apparel product line and achieve its 2022 sales target.

The new funds will be channeled to support the company’s vision in increasing e-commerce revenue and conversions in the privacy- forward world using advanced machine learning.

The brand new capital will be utilized for its expansion into new and existing markets to accelerate growth before its planned float, TruKKer said in a statement.

Established in late 2020, El-Dokan primarily targets the more sizable retailers and chain stores that are looking to grow their e-commerce market share, increase sales and operation automation. Moreover, the startup also works with software companies and developers that are seeking to build their e-commerce stores in a fast and cost-efficient manner.

The fresh capital will support the company’s product development and expansion plans, with the goal of covering 13 cities by the end of 2024.
