Dronamics Pre-Series A Funding

Dronamics, the world’s first cargo drone airline, has bagged $40M in pre-Series A funding to introduce middle-mile drone deliveries in Europe. The round saw participation from several investors from 12 countries, including Speedinvest and the Strategic Development Fund (SDF), which is the investment arm of the Tawazun Council of Abu Dhabi. SDF's investment will pave the way for a UAE-based joint venture that will expand Dronamics' capacity and support its operations in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Founded in 2006, Spreetail is a global e-commerce accelerator that provides manufacturers with logistics and channel management services. In its latest news, the company has raised $208M in a venture funding round supported by McCarthy Capital, internal management and other investors. The fresh capital will be used to ramp up technology efficiencies, strengthen brand relationships and invest in channel partnerships.

Last week, Slync.io successfully closed yet another venture funding round, where it secured $24M from investors including Goldman Sachs, Blumberg Capital, among others.

Just five months after its Series B last September, the firm just closed a $30Mpre-Series C, with Northstar Group providing sole support for the round.

According to TechCrunch, the company has nabbed a whopping $104M in the latest Series D financing round led by Amazon-backed Smbhav Venture Fund, taking its all-time raise to over $250M.

Earlier this week, the startup secured €1M as part of its pre-seed funding, which will go towards driving its European expansion plans and recruiting efforts.
