The Loadstar: Former DHL CFO Martin Leopold Joins German Startup InstaFreight

German logistics start-up InstaFreight has strengthened its management team by appointing Martin Leopold as its new Chief Financial Officer. Martin served a five-year stint as Chief Sales Officer of DHL Freight and prior to that, he spent three years as the company's CFO.

“My decision to join InstaFreight is associated with my desire to work at a dynamically growing scale-up,” said the 54-year-old leader. “The goals will be securing well-established corporate structures and creating innovative new ones. InstaFreight started with the ambition of accelerating digitalization in European road freight transport and building a leading digital logistics provider in Europe,” he added.
