EY and Shopify Team Up to Help Enterprises Deliver E-Commerce Services
Multinational corporation EY has announced the new global alliance with Shopify Inc., to support businesses reach their e-commerce potential through the sale of regulated products.
EY works across assurance, consulting, law, strategy, tax, and transactions and has been the consulting firm for many enterprises while Shopify is currently the most popular e-commerce platform provider.
The EY-Shopify alliance aims to help online businesses scale up in 2 ways. Large-scale businesses can benefit from the EY e-commerce system integration services optimized for the implementation of Shopify. Online businesses can also boost the sales of regulated products by creating a new secure option with support from the Alliance.
To kick start the program, EY and Shopify will hold a training with the initial participation of 500 technical professionals worldwide to support their enterprise costumes, as a value-added service. In the future, the number of trained professionals will be up to 10,000. With EY experience, Shopify merchants will be able to sell products legally with reduced risk and a tax-efficient distribution model.
