Marketing-Interactive: Estée Lauder Appoints Katie Choy As Regional Online Director for APAC

Estée Lauder has named Katie Choy as its new regional online director for Asia-Pacific (APAC). Katie is tasked with managing and leading the company's online operations in the Asia Pacific region, which includes Japan, Korea, Australia, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. This includes establishing regional goals and objectives, guiding the company's online presence in these markets, and optimizing digital media, channels, product offerings, and customer acquisition and retention. In this role, she will also be responsible for managing the company's e-commerce presence, including its official web shop, marketplaces, and e-commerce platforms.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Katie spent more than four years at Dyson Hong Kong, most recently as the regional head of sales for Hong Kong and Taiwan and the regional head of eCommerce for Hong Kong and Taiwan. Before being appointed to her current position, Choy worked as Microsoft's online store manager since 2014. In 2013, she worked as assistant advertising and promotion manager at Sony.
Moreover, Katie also has a history of successfully revitalizing companies and brands. Clients from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and the United States have all been among her previous employers. More than a year ago, Katie served as the senior brand director for SK-II across the world. She started working at SK-II in January 2009 and, for the first four years of her tenure there, she was the assistant brand manager. She then assumed the position of brand manager in May 2003 and held it for almost five years before taking over the position of business and brand leader for about three years.
