DHL Group Appoints Nicola Leske as EVP Group Communications & Sustainability

DHL Group has announced a significant development in its leadership team as Nicola Leske steps into the role of Executive Vice President for Group Communications & Sustainability, effective from August 1, 2023. In her new capacity, she will directly report to Tobias Meyer, the CEO of DHL Group.
Bringing over two decades of comprehensive experience in the realm of communications, Nicola Leske's appointment is poised to bolster DHL Group's strategic communications and sustainability initiatives. Prior to joining DHL Group, Nicola held the position of Managing Partner at GAULY Advisors, a renowned strategic communications consultancy, where she provided expert counsel to both international and German corporations across various facets of corporate communications.
Prior to this, Nicola held the influential position of Chief Communications Officer at the global software group SAP SE, where she orchestrated comprehensive communications strategies. The role encompassed steering the strategic positioning of the company, elevating the profile of the Executive Board, and spearheading corporate social responsibility endeavors.
Educationally, Nicola holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim, coupled with a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Bonn. She is also an alumnus of the Henri Nannen School of Journalism in Hamburg. All in all, Nicola's vast expertise across various sectors positions her as a valuable addition to the DHL Group leadership, with her insights expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the company's communication strategies and sustainability pursuits moving forward.
