DHL Express has launched its first mobile pop-up store in San Antonio, TX, a strategic move to address the burgeoning demand for efficient and convenient international shipping services in one of America's fastest-growing cities. Located at 12651 Vance Jackson Road, the innovative, 2,200-cubic-foot facility operates completely off-the-grid and is tailored to serve the area's diverse B2C and B2B shipping needs, including a significant immigrant community with ties across Mexico and Latin America.

The self-sustaining unit, powered entirely by solar panels, represents DHL's commitment to environmental sustainability, aligning with its goal to reach net-zero emissions by 2050. This new mobile DHL ServicePoint not only facilitates rapid processing of both domestic and international shipments to over 220 countries but also provides essential shipping supplies on-site.
Aaron Gallagher, SVP Commercial for DHL Express U.S., emphasized that the introduction of the mobile pop-up store is specifically designed to enhance service accessibility and efficiency, catering to the city’s growing international connectivity demands. This strategic expansion is supported by Flexetail, a leader in designing and building mobile retail spaces, which aids brands in exploring new markets affordably.
This initiative is part of a broader strategy by DHL, which includes over 3,500 independently owned DHL ServicePoint Partner stores across the U.S., each offering specialized knowledge and services critical to navigating international markets. These locations collectively bolster DHL's ability to meet rising customer expectations for quick and reliable global shipping solutions.
