Captain Fresh Series C Funding

Captain Fresh is a business-to-business (B2B) marketplace leveraging technology to deliver the fastest farm-to-retail in the industry. According to TechCrunch, the company has more than doubled its valuation to $500M in a span of three months. With the fresh $50M from its latest Series C round, the Bengaluru-based startup plans on expanding into Southeast Asia and Africa.

Paris-based Convelio is a global logistics firm that specializes in shipping bulky, fragile and luxury goods. Founded by entrepreneurs Clément Ouizille and Edouard Gouin, the company is known for its algorithm-based technology that enables the automation of quotes and workflows for its clients. Even amidst the pandemic, the startup successfully secured $35M in a recent Series B, which is reportedly the largest investment in art logistics to date.

Calico Seed Funding

Calico is a supply chain management platform that received the attention of tennis pro, Serena Williams. Through the combination of artificial intelligence and its network of vetted factory partners, Calico hopes to simplify the supply chain operations of direct-to-consumer (D2C) fashion brands.

Instafreight Series B Funding

Instafreight is a leading logistics tech company that is reinventing the overland transports industry today. The company has just closed a $40M Series B, which is the largest funding round in its history. As per Instafreight’s announcement on Linkedin, the new capital will help with its “next big step” on its “journey to become the biggest digital logistics provider for land transport in Europe.”

The $100 million Series B funding will help the company to scale up as they look to deploy the software across million retail stores globally.
