Global e-commerce technology provider Doddle has recently launched a range of self-service kiosks. This initiative offers customers automated package-less, label-free self-service returns in under a minute. With that, Doddle strives to consolidate return parcel volumes and offer valuable returns insights to retail customers with return reason data capture.

The introduction of these automated kiosks “enables carriers to offer additional services that are convenient, sustainable and cost effective”, said Tim Robinson, CEO of Doddle. Customers can conveniently process their returns through a touchscreen and a scan of a QR code before placing their return item in the packaging provided. The self-service kiosk then prints a label that they stick to the item and then places it into a drop-box. The system then emails them a digital receipt.
Tim Robinson also added, “Our research shows that 94% of retailers see making returns better as a priority for their business…By solving this problem for merchants, they can deepen their relationships, win additional new business thanks to a more complete e-commerce proposition, and enable their merchant customers to succeed in e-commerce, driving long-term parcel volume increases”.
