People fear what they don’t know and that often involves change. But for Tonya, change is good and being uncomfortable is good. It means that you are exploring something new, outside of your comfort zone and it gives you a new experience and it challenges you. No matter what area you are in, if you are offered something outside of your core skill set and you are interested, do not hesitate and allow yourself to be out there. You should have a balance of excitement and fear, because when you first make that move, you’ll start to change the wave and you’ll start developing a new muscle. To make it simple, don’t back down from an opportunity because you don’t know much about it, instead always take that opportunity to learn. And that is one of the key learnings of this episode.
