He also shared how different digital procurement is from the traditional one- how everything is faster, smarter, and more efficient. With this, he discussed how BMW started its journey of digitalizing its procurement processes, where they stand, and how it adjusted to achieve the best results. He also talked about some of the hurdles they have to overcome to successfully implement this change and what he sees happening in the future.

On the people’s side, according to him when looking for people to join BMW, it is crucial to look at their attitude and personality, and whether they have the ability to collaborate.
