CNBC: Retailers are Turning Black Friday into a Shopping Month

Retailers are focusing on turning the entire month into a shopping month this year. Instead of one-day doorbuster deals, retailers are introducing discounts and promotions days and weeks ahead.

“Black Friday has turned into Cyber Month,” said consumer savings expert Andrea Woroch

Black Friday sales have already started in Target, Best Buy, and Home Depot with attractive deals and discounts. Many apparel retailers are also implementing discount codes on their e-commerce stores.

Online retail giant Amazon has also announced plans for a Cyber Monday Deals Weekend, which will run from 28 Nov to 30 Nov. The weekend will cover huge discounts on items that are popular, for example, the Ring Video Doorbell, Echo Show, and Fire tablets.

Consumers can now sign up for newsletter subscriptions to receive alerts and notifications on any deals and promotions from their favorite retail brands. In addition to the ongoing discounts, tools like Rakuten provide cashback while browser extensions like Cently automatically apply coupons with the biggest discount to orders.
