In a bid to further grow its library of original audio content, Amazon will be acquiring podcasting company Wondery.
With this acquisition, Wondery will be joining Amazon’s music streaming business Amazon Music. Amazon Music has been adding podcasts to its platform since September, gaining more footing within the competitive podcasting market, where Spotify, Apple and others have gained ground.
